Arrow Tropical fish, Free to good home.

I know it's not an event but.....

I'm getting bored with them, basically.
So if anyone has spare room in their tank and wants to pick them up, they are welcome to all that I have.

2 Silver Sharks (approx 5" each)
3 Golden Sharks (aprrox 5" each)
2 Algae Eaters (3" each)
1 Cory (about 1" and excellent gravel cleaner)

Also have Fluval2 internal pump/filter (2 years old),underwater L.E.D. lighting, heater etc.

Tank itself (2'x2'x2') is getting on a bit , needs a new lid. but this is also going (probably to the tip).

I was going to offer a home here but you beat me too it.

I have two 6x3x3 tanks in my garage so if the skitish silver sharks need a bit more leg room i'm your man.

They are Blue Channel Catfish Which I had a few years ago. Unfortunatley my bucket filter failed while I was on holiday when we had the 43 degree heat a couple of years ago and like the pond in cambridge recently the oxygen in the water was not enough and they drowned. I only fed them once a week because they gorge themselves and then fast for a while, so noone spotted they were struggling When I buried them they were 2 foot long having bought them 6 years previous as 2 inch babies I replaced them with Oscars and peruno catfish. I have always had bull head catfish which is why I have so many tanks because they kill anything you put in with them. I had the biggest tanks made to order by seabray with inch thick pilkingtons glass becasue the catfish can break thinner glass if they charge the sides.

And another catfish which does less than a sleeping couch potato, clarias catfish.

No room for the scoob in the garage!

Clarias Catfish ... that was what i was thinking off.... Aren't they a bit dangerous??

I know someone that got their tentacles in their hand and due to some toxin or bacteria or something ended up being on antibiotics for about 6 months and now the skin on his hand is all pitted...

sod putting my hand in the tank with that about...

I really like your MBU Pufferfish, I was tempted by one of these last year when I was re stocking, I saw a real whopper at a whopping price of £200. Trouble is when you buy them that big they could be really old and not last long. Yours looks really happy

Alot of people think that fish are boring, but Troy is such a character, he sulks, yawns shows us his teeth when he is getting bored waiting for his next bit of food just to name a few...
We are looking forward to stting up the new tank so he has the opportunity to grow to his full size of 2ft long
