Default crystal headlight help............

Ok bit of a long story but purchased a face lift set i.e bonnet, bumper, lights, grill, for our STI V1. the headlights we have are from a company called DEPO and have turned up as electric adjustment which (despite us requesting manual adjustment) is useless for our car as it does not have electric adjustment.
I have phoned several places this afternoon to try and get Manual adjustment crystal lights but have not had any joy.So I have been told the electric and manual lights are the same but apparently the manual adjusment asembly has to be removed from OE lights and fitted to new lights to get them to work as manual, but the OE lights can only have one sides adjuster removed the other is fixed in the light unit. So its suggested we buy '97 onward lights to get the adjusters from them as they are different to the '94.
Still awake?? I wouldnt be!
So any ideas or answers? anyone else had this problem or is it all a load of rubbish? HELP!!
