Default drum roll please..........

the scoob is finally back on the road, though a couple of problems.

the headers are cracked so t's blowing

and it's hunting, so I better give Ives a call to map it

If you don't mind me asking who is Ives? Just theres not that many of us about and I would love to learn that I have a scooby mapper inthe family.

Ives don't come to many meets these days, he's one of the old skool from the Dick Turpin days. Very knowledgable chap, though I think he only remaps Apexi ECU's.


Thanks for your comments everyone, just done 8 miles, only 992 to go before the proper remap

Though I didn't install the front mount as I've got to modify the air filter pipework

Yes mate, avoid Sumiyaka headers, he won't respond to my emails

I think you should paul with the flamers and the engine convertions and lightwaight pulleys and that ud make a mint lol

I thought the price of them were a bit too good to be true,oh well.

would love to get some work done on mine, mortgage is priority at the mo though .

I can recommend Harvey Smiths ported & wrapped standard headers

Betts ported and polished his standard manifold, and was very impressed with the results!!

I was going to do that to my manifold, but ddn't bother as I didn't expect the headers to crack
