I posted in the ICE section a while ago about the DDX-6027, lovely bit of kit. Let me know how you get on with it as its on my wish list! Did you do the speakers too?

I recon a better battery is in order too if its used a lot when the engine is off. Did you consider the 8027, I thought it was a bit over kill in functionality and price compared to the 6027? Did they have any problems getting it in or was it a straight swap no mods?

I had single din Kenwood head unit before It took Pulse about 1/2 hour

including a bit of training

I did look at the 8027 but Pulse had a good deal on the 6027 and as you said perhaps a little over kill

Phil going to ring Stuart tomorrow, with a veiw to fitting this week. Want to replace the speakers while im there what would you recommend to go with the 6027. I've got factory ones at the mo which I think are probabbly 20w is there a particulalry good one to go for? I have had infinity before but they were rubbish.

Stu.

Yep, Gary and Stuart were really helpful. Going to choose the speakers, amp and sub when I get there. They recomended I listen to a few first. No point buying on purely brand. If it sounds good I don't care if its the cheapest option.

If anyone else reads this what amps, sub, F&R speakers are considereed the dogs dagglies?

Thanks again Phil, although moving this up this list has put the AP brakes back a bit.
