AT LAST!!!!!!!!!!!!!
My car is finally home
No damage to the bodywork, though my rear number plate has gone walkies
At least I know the tracker works, as they kept phoning me to say it's been activated, so I guess that was when they loaded the car onto the transporter!!
Had to laugh, the first time they called me, they were about to phone the police, as the tracker was activated at the port of Dover!!!
The car also needs some serious bufty treatment, but maybe that will have to wait until I rebuild the engine
Nevetas, where's the love juice mate?
Tomorrow, start of the strip down, or should I say TODAY!!
Had a great idea for the old block, clean it up, buy a bevelled glass top and sell it on ebay as a coffee table

stripped the engine down, just got to take off the turbo, exhaust and the engine is ready to be taken out, got to see a mate to borrow an engine hoist.
I've now got to work Sat, so the engine won't be coming out till sunday now.
Hopefully the new block should be delivered on monday.
took a few pics of the engine being dismantled, but can't find the USB lead, so you'll have to wait a bit longer for them

only thing is, it might be a bit heavy, and not sure how much it would be for the glass!!
But if you want the block, it's yours, hopefully it should be out tomorrow or Monday, you'll have to collect though as it's a bit awkward to deliver it on a push bike
