Straight answers now please ... what are clear buckets?

Mate i havent once been taking the ****.
You asked what a clear bucket was so a said a bucket that is clear. Even when i post a pic you dont belive me lol
Sponges scratch the car and clear buckets make life easier to see the amount of dirt in the water when washing. So you know when to renew the water once its very soiled in the dirty bucket of the two.

Lol ... I'm not a retard really just have no clue when it comes to all the funky cleaning products you guys bang on about all day long - thought clear bucket was some new product.
Sponges do scratch a car but on a 10-20k scoob I'm not sure it makes much difference!!! If you are pissed off about it then go hire one of those crazy polishers - that will soon sort them out!

A sponge has no pile, therefore the dirt removed from the cars surface is carried along with the spong when washing. The grit scratches the clearcoat making swirls and cobwebbs on the paint surface.
A lambswool washmitt has a deep pile that pulls the grit and dirt away from the paint surface and thus conciderable less scratching occurs
Hope that helps

thank god for that then!!! As said I appreciate the effort that goes into cleaning and polishing up your motors but some of the products that people try to sell are ridiculous prices.
Although I now know why I shouldn't have bought a black motor - fecking looks like it's been on a rally all the bloody time!
