Default Lucky escape today!!

Betts and I hdad to do some work at Cranbrook, Kent, and I was driving the company van on the way back, about 5 miles from the Dartford tunnel in the middle lane, when I notice a dark grey volvo pull up just behind, keeping a constant distance, I looked at the speedo and saw was doing 85, so I lifted off down to around 75, then the volvo drove off, with 2 burly coppers in the front seats!!
Thank god i noticed them in time!! just goes to show that you need more than a GPS safety alert system to keep you out of trouble

Looks like they're now starting to wear fancy dress to cheer up their otherwise boring duty around the M25 - you're followed by a "grey volvo" and Ian was pulled over on the way back last Saturday by an "unmarked Galaxy" which we thought had fallen out of the sky although we understand there were earlier sightings on the A127. They'll be painting their motors in Stealth paint soon and we'll never see them at all. Why can't they all be a bit more Scooby-friendly like Pc Scooby in Norwich fo children-in-need

well, the van thinks it's a Honda Civic Type R as the gearstick is on the dash, but in reality it's a Mercedes Vito with a top speed of 105mph going downhill, not that I've tried, but have heard

......and he reckons he caught Ian doing 120? that must have been nuts and bolts off his gearbox that he left all over the M25
