Need Flat Roof on Garage doing
Does anyone know of a local roofer? I want to get our garage flat roof recovered. Does anyone know how much it will cost roughly? It is about 25m sq. Not leaking and still okay but prevention is better than cure
Would be nice to use someone recommended
Thanks
Vicki

Hi Vicki,
Trying to think of someone, we had the roof done recently at work and they were really good and didnt overcharge.
Otherwise I would suggest 118 trades.com on the net, they have to be recommended or investigated to get on the site. So no cowboys !!

Garage roofs when flat, seem to hold water which over time I think comes through depending on matierals used, now what i would say is get it lifted slightly in an angle so when it rains it goes to one side, should last longer, without leaking, not being an expert or anything only from what I asume from the house roof...

Seems like some builders cut corners so in a few years they can be called to do it again...As most people will not look to see the slight slope or ask the builders/roofers abould any issues they have, so it's best to see what u need and what others have done, same with tuning cars etc... same principal

steve 57 is right i am a roofing carpenter i dont do (hot work) tar bitumen
i will always say in the long run a change from flat roof to a pitch roof is the way to go
tar'ed roofs need re-doing every 10 ish years (guessing)
if a roof is pitched and tiled u never need to spend another penny and they look so much better
it will cost u a moderate amount
