My scoob is poorly
Yesterday, I when I was driving the scoob, I noticed a burning smell, so I pulled over and popped the bonnet, I found oil dripping out of the dumpvalve onto the exhaust manifold.
After doing a few checks, it seems I have positive pressure from the oil filler cap, and has been diagnosed as a possible piston melt down (at worse)
so looks like I won't be at too many meets until it's repaired.
I'm taking the car down to ScoobyTek, as it's only 10 mins from me and I don't want to risk further engine damage by driving it any more than I have to.
I really feel like now

Just got back from ScoobyTek, and my engine has been given a clean bill of health, there is some very minor piston slap, but nothing serious at all. it's not down in power, not smoking at all and there are no untoward noises either, so have been recommended to keep an eye on the oil levels just in case.
Thanks Craig, you're a star
All that remains to do is to follow Knowlesy's advice and do a compression check when the engine cools down.
Thanks to all for the advice!!

Xtremes sorted my car out very quickly when my water pump decided it didn't want to play anymore, and Knowlsey bent over backwards to get a new pump and get me on the road again
Knowlesy also gave me some advice on what to check with my car which I'll do and let him know the results. And he even called me this morning to check up, so again, thanks mate I appreciate that
