Morning all, just wanted to give everyone a heads up. My mate is a mechanic and one of his customers is a copper.
While at my mates garage yesterday he told my mate that currently Scoobies and evos are being targeted by theives in Essex.
My mate text me as soon as he heard.
Keep your eyes and ears open guys and girls and be extra safe with your cars!

One of the only advantages to owning a Sport. I could give chase on foot and still catch them

...that and no-one would want to steal it in the first place of course...

 

Unfortunately they are nicking them from garages as well. Must check on ours.

 

Once they are in a garage it hides them and the car, giving them as much time as they want, and access to all your tools if they need them.

Up your security, wheel lock, pedal box lock, switch, tracker, all can be had at reasonable cost. and if yours is a rarely driven car take the wheels off and lock them up separately haha.

My security is my exhaust, car would never be started without the neighborhood hearing lol

Mine was stolen last year,yes the exhaust woke me but it was too late

New one has snap off steering wheel and LOADS more security to go with it.

 

Snap-off steering wheel here too! I swear by it.

 

Sadly mine is parked out of view of my house. I've had reports of a thin lanky hooded fella lurking around the motor peering through the windows a few times now.

I also found a gouge in my door frame where it looks like someone has tried to force my front door open with a screw driver.

Reported to the police but if I catch them first it won't be pretty
