I don't see how they can enforce a ban on cars randomly turning up on the front!
Who actually organises these meets - no-one? The word goes round and people turn-up - no actual organisation? Of course, there can be no excuse for the behaviour of some idiots. Get rid of these and much of the problem goes away.
I'm really nervous now as if I rock up in the Scoob with the missus for a Rossi cornet the authorities might descend on the poor pensioners and slap us with an anti-social order!

That's just it though, the article states that this ban would apply to the whole Borough, not just the Seafront. Which is hilarious! How are they hoping to enforce something that would cover such a vast area?
According to the BBC this morning -which is where I first heard about all this- a 'cruise' is defined as being any more than a mere 2 cars parked up in a location!
So if you happen to park up at Sainsburys on a Saturday afternoon for a spot of food shopping and there are 2 other Imprezas in the same car park- you'd better watch out! Those authorities will be on to you!
I agree with you though John, it's always a shame that the small minority have to go and spoil it for everyone else. Everyone is getting tarred with the 'idiot brush'.

It's reassuring to hear that our pub meets still just about fall into the classification of a 'cruise' or 'gathering' though..and here we all were thinking it was dead.
