Hi,Im new here so if there is somewhere I was supposed to post this I apolgise,I looked but couldnt find a new members thread.I just picked up my 06 hawkeye STI type UK on saturday and am loving it so far.Im in the Southend area and would like to meet other ScoobyNet members in the area.

Yeh it is,take it you are from round the area? Not looking to upgrade for a while,want to get used to her.Been driving around in a mk1 leon cupra for bout 5 years so the Scoob is a completely different animal...lol

Im from South Woodham Ferrers (seems to be a few popping up there now). Central Cars is where I got my Hawk WRX from a year ago. One of the owners sons whose a salesman there lives next door to my sister.

Cool,they are a nice bunch down at central cars,its where i got the leon from,i chopped my e46 330ci msport in and got that and some cash.Hopefully you will see it soon,doesnt look like there is any meets any time soon,but would like to meet up with some of the Essex group.

Get yourself involved thith the essex scooby crew on FB, they meet every 1st weekend in Southend and there's the monthly pub meet at the Rodney Great Dunmow way!

The 2 i found,1 was a page which i liked and the other is a closed group,which is the 1 im waiting for acceptance for.If you or anyone knows an admin is there any chance you could get them to accept please.

welcome along, the southend meet is the 1st saturday of the month meeting at tesco on the mayflower retail park ss14 3hz they meet there around 7 more there 7.30 they leave after 8 and go along the seafront and then stop at mc donalds at southend airport. The pub meet was last saturday but is normally the last saturday of the month at the rodney in little baddow cm3 4tq. So enjoy your first meet this saturday night

There is quite a few of us local. If your going to make the pub this month whenever we have a date, give me a shout and I'll meet you on the way.
I don't tend to do the southend run anymore, Mrs seems to be working late every first sa so no idea where they'll be. They have changed the old route to meet at a macdonalds tho, not cliché at all!
