Stunning to drive mate to say the least , I Completed 3 fast laps of the prodrive " Tower track " Was awesome with the instructor saying egging me on

The 320bhp felt very fast , But to me i guess that it would , Mid range was very noticable 2nd , 3rd & 4th Gears all slung you back into your seat , & Felt like the wheels were ripping the tarmac from the road :

Saying that though it did lack a bit of sound , But again in used to a de catted Firestorm !!!

But ....

I Have a few gripes ...

1. I Feel the leather logo seats should be standard , As with the tinted windows

2. If you do not go for the option of the leather seats the blue seats look out of place ( Seats should be black / Grey )

3. Do not like the blue carpet , Should be black

4. Would be so much better with a " Proper " Number plauqe , The tax disc holder with the limited edition number is cack & Just looks like a silver anodised richbrook tax disc holder ( Surely a plauqe on the centre console would of been better )

Apart from that the drive & Handling was very good , But to be honest i would expect that from subaru / Prodrive

Also the Orange RB320 Logo's work well with the car & So mubch better imho than the tacky , Cheap looking WR1 Logo's that were used on that

**cough cough** NO MORE MODS **cough cough**

Got to agree with the big fella regarding the interior of the 320, the blue STI looks adequate in an STI. Where as, if I was spending in excess of 30k on a limited edition, then I'd expect to get a non-standard/limited edition interior. Also I would want to see a plaque (like the other limited editions) somewhere in the interior. I bet there'll be quite a few tax discs disappearing out of the 320 and turning up in some beaten up Nova

As for the test drive, I managed to get 2 fast laps, my overall impression that it is FAST, mainly because it's got at least 70 BHP more then the Terzo and probably 3 times of the power of the Pug. The handling was very good but I found the brakes so-so. I reported that in the feedback form they gave out.

All in all, the test session was a good taster for what would be a great day out. We were all agreed that although it costs £250, it would make a great 1 off ESC experience. Plus if, like me and Tiny, you have an 'understanding' instructor, you get to experience even more stuff. Ain't that right Big Boy??
