Andy at Alcatek can get busy and difficult to get hold of but normally given a weeks notice I can get the software.

I suspect you might find there is something else going on.

Simon i believe area52 contacted you regarding this ecu last week about the apparent anti lag which hadnt been enabled on it. Just hope they manage to get the codes they need off Andy.

Thats correct. I supplied said ecu originally. I checked back through my laptop to find the map that I put on it for the als codes but it never had als enabled.

I don 't believe it was ever supplied with als therefore you will have to buy the unlock codes but thats a separate thing to the mapping software.

Just goes to show there some miss leading people about but to be fair the person i bought it off said he never fitted it and im assuming he bought it off the guys car you mapped. Would you suggest me trying to contact anyone or just leave it to area52?

Does this apply to all 2nd hand alcatek ecu's? as ive bought one and its been updated with the new software apparantly, but does it have to be unlocked?

If so I Would like to get that sorted before JGM comes over to N.Ireland to map it

As above there is a code inside your ecu your mapper will need to contact alcatek with prior to him mapping.
