Default Odd readings in ECU Explorer

Since my engine failure (Bottom End) I've been more paranoid about the car running right so I've been running ECU explorer to log the ECU readings and have two things I'm curious about.

1) The Intake temp shows as -40. Now that can either mean ECU explorer can't read it correctly or I've got a faulty MAF. Any thoughts which without replacing the MAF? Also can I find the MAF code without removing it or does it have to come out?

2) I'm seeing the odd knock correction around -6. I'm not sure what this means. The car isn't showing any knock detection. When I get the knock correction the ignition is adjusted and it disappears. Not seeing any knock detection. I've researched this a little and most people say its normal and nothing to worry about unless its doing it at full throttle.

Edit, here is the link to the log file.

Thanks

I had the same situation after three big end bearings went. I wanted to know it was running spot on. I was told to datalog at Wide Open Throttle - my knock correction went as high as 7.5 - I never found out if this was ok or not! My intake temperatures seemed pretty accurate when I was logging.

classics dont have intake temp sensor incorporated into maf unlike newages. The sti classics have an seperate inlet temp sensor on plastic 90 degree elbow that runs from above headlight to snorkel in inner wing, uk cars dont have these. if its showing -40 its either disconnected or broken.

i havent used ecuexplorer in ages cant even remembers if it logs rather than just real time data.
