Hi ive got a 2005 sti just recently the engine light has come on a couple of times with code p031, car is running an rcm340 fuel pump, full decat, panel filter and ngk pfr7 plugs and remapped by simon JGM running 336bhp, its done 67000 miles, doesnt feel like car is missing when accelerating anyone got any ideas as to why its coming on ?

If its not actually misfiring could be neutral position switch.

no seems to pull strong and smooth and only seem to come on when boosting hard in higher gears, when light comes on it will only boost to 1bar normally runs at 1.5bar, ill get a NPS switch n see how it goes, is there any tests i can do to confirm the switch is fooked before replacing thanks
