ESL board swap issues
MY 98 WRX is running a ESL board with a MAF-less map,
Following investigation into massive over fuelling, it turns out the main ECU has a fault causing one injector control line (pin 12 , socket B137) to drive the injector to stay constantly on as soon as the ignition is turned on, not nice !
I've sourced another 6V ECU with the same part numbers, and swapped the ESL sockets board over to the new ECU - (I work in electronics so took it the production area to get done properly!).
However it doesn't seem to operate - turn ignition on, fuel pump doesn't prime, check engine flashes (no MAF), so my question to the experts out there is what do I need to do to initialise the ESL board with the new ECU - assuming it's not supposed to work swapping between two ECU's ?
Thanks,
Jon

Did you remember to cut the jumper?!
I have put my esl into a few other ECU with no prob. I normally wouldn't even get a check engine light if the ESL wasn't seated in its socket properly!
