hi. im currently looking for an ecu for my 2001 jdm bugeye wrx.
the code on mine is as follows :

iv seen one on ebay but the codes are slightly different
their code says as follows:

a18-000 d7p 1317

i was just wondering will this work because they say its out of a jdm wrx but a 2002 one. or do i have to get an ecu to match the same codes as mine?
