Default Best ways to start tuning my standard 1998 v4 sti???

hi i have recently purchased a 1998 v4 sti and i am soon going to be looking at going down the tunning road. any ideas at what will be the best options to start with? thanks.

I would go straight through Turin back first to unleash a couple of extra horses. But mainly that Subaru rumble!

Car is completely standard atm. Anybody had an esl map from Jolly green monster? I was thinking a straight through then a map?

full decat , uprated up pipe,green cotton pannel air filter,fit a uprated feul pump (if it hasnt already) remap , depends how far you want to go with it

If you get a full decat you'll have problems come MoT time as your car MUST have one to pass, regardless of emissions............Unless you know a 'friendly' garage?

A 100 CEL sports cat is the best option to squeeze out a few more ponies over the oe cat.

An ESL with JGM is a good way to go. As stated earlier, decent air filter and uprated fuel pump are good basic tuning options.
