Default Benefits of upgrading the standard electronic boost control solonoid?

Hi iv got a wr1, 2.5 decat with straight through center with original prodrive back box, with green cotton panel filter. Mapped by race dynamix to what he think will be 330-340 matched torque.

Been reading up about upgrading the standard electronic boost control solonoid? What would you upgrade it to any why? Also would it give any gains in any areas?

Thanks in advance.

Hi there

Better boost solenoid will give you better boost control, but in most cases 2 port boost solenoid is good enough

Yours car should have already 3 port boost solenoid,if you are not sure just post the picture
