Newage ecutek software
I was just wondering I've got ecutek software on my my05 wrx and thinking when it detects det and retards the ignition timing , at what point will that reset to the original map set by the mapper? Is it only reset after a fault memory reset? Or just after ignition reset?

it monitors the knock sensor and will put the timing back in over a period of time with no det occurring.. doing a reset will speed up that process but the newage ecu is pretty good at it.
