Standard V3 Sti type r with 6s ecu - Should I remap?
Guys, I'm no stranger to the V3/4 Impreza's but was wondering if its worth remapping (esl or apexi etc) for reliability reasons? Or is the 6s ecu ok as it is?
I was thinking about having it mapped for 95ron with 2 different boost settings.
The car and engine are completely standard apart from a haywood and scott 2.5" decat turbo back exhaust.
Cheers,
Wayne.

Guys, I got similar problem
Have Classic Turbo Impreza 97/98 with 6S ecu and piggyback at 1.2 bar.
Old classic engine damaged (bearings...)
Right now I have in my hands STI V4 engine from Type-R.
My questions:
1) are my engine wiring harness ready for that V4 engine ? are there any different polarizations ?
2) can I stay on old TD04 turbo ?
3) can I stay on old 6S ecu with old piggyback as it was for classic engine ?
Normally I using SHELL V-POWER RACING 100 (right now they call it Shell V-Power Nitro+).
Thanks for help!!!
