The immobiliser light on my dash keeps flashing (flash-flash - pause - flash flash etc) since it had a remap in Jan. The car is an MY00 UK Turbo. Some other information that may help is that the ECU was swopped for the remap because I bought one that already had a licence. Anyone know how I can fix it or what's causing it?

I'd sugest you speak with your mapper first stop, I know zilch about mapping etc but it just maybe coincidental the light is flashing after the remap and could be something else altogether

 

Yes, I have tried contacting the mapper but no result.

I thought the immobilser is separate to the ECU. Therefore replacing the ECU and reprogramming it should not effect the immobilser.
