Default Doesn't like the cold!!

Hi all, I'm new the scooby world and this website so i might be asking a fairly obvious question but here goes!
I have recently purchased an 'S' reg uk turbo 2000, and apparently it has had a prodrive ecu fitted, however I am unsure of all the mods done. Recently as the weather has been colder she seems to hesitate or cut boost at high speeds on full throttle, causing me to 'hop' down the road. Any ideas what could cause this? Possibly running too lean or something more simple? Any help would be much appreciated!!!!!

Boost cut, due to the cold weather the denser air is causing overboost so the ecu cuts the fuel temporarily causing the "oh **** I've just hit a wall" feeling, you can drive around it by rolling the throttle on rather than burying it in the carpet or you can change the restrictor pill to a slightly larger one.

The restrictor pill is in the pipework around the turbo somewhere (not sure where, there is a diagram on here) and I aint sure of the size either, I think the bigger size smooths out the spike so to speak so the ecu doesn't see the boost shoot up then back off.....
