New 02 sensor, CEL light reset required ??
I've had the engine management light on my 2004 impreza type uk and its been diagnosed as the 02 sensor, it was the post cat sensor.
I've just found a new denso replacement from the USA for less than £50 so gonna try that.
My question is will the management light reset automatically with a working sensor or will I need to get it turned off after fitting the new sensor ?
Cheers
Nick

Thanks for the replies here's a quick update, the sensor arrived on Friday so I bolted it on over the weekend and as said by Arthur.d the light was still on. Anyway just finished work so dropped it off at the local friendly garage who diagnosed it (not sure of the exact code, but the mechanic said which O2 sensor it was) and said they'll reset it when they get a minute.
Lol they phoned me whilst I was writing this and the lights gone out and stayed out so well pleased.
Ill find the parts dealer I bought the sensor off and post a link for anyone whos looking to buy a replacement denso sensor. Only $50ish which is around £35 !! So a lot of monies to be saved over uk parts
Cheers
