Default prodrive power gains

Started to look into giving my 99/00 uk turbo a bit of a boost on a budget and decided to go down the prodrive ecu route so on the hunt for a used 1,what id really like to know is how much you can get out of them with associated mods and are the gains noticeable, cheers.

My old MY00 with PPP, decat downpipe and manual boost controller did 257 BHP on a Maha dyno. The gain with just the PPP was even more subtle.

No I didn't map the PPP ECU. The fuelling was similar to MY99 IIRC, boost raised by 2 PSI and a bit more timing. By the time Ecutek came out and I started tuning it I had already changed the turbo and intercooler and was playing around with fuel cut defenders and boost controllers.

On some higher reading dynos people got up to about 270-280 BHP with PPP and decat downpipe, but these would often read standard cars at 230+.

What would you recommend the best safe way forward for the 99 model running the prodrive ecu £ vs bhp ( without a remap )
