I have a yr2000 forester s turbo , I am looking to up its performance hopefully using existing subaru parts, eg wrx bits etc , any advice and help would be really helpful.

You can have yours mapped via EcuTek,no open source option,but ESL Daughterboard should be released maybe in few months,but in meantime you have only EcuTek option for mapping

About the upgrades depends on your target,but usual people on Forester S(SF) replacing the turbo for TD04,not sure on the injectors,but they should be OK at 270-280bhp,exhaust should fit from Impreza on yours,maybe will be slightly inside

Not sure what you will want to upgrade,but usually bits from Impreza will fit on yours,although some bits will needs little bit modification

I'm looking to do the same thing, got a 99 uk forester s turbo. From what I've read the uk version is only 170-180 bhp and the jdm is 240, which version you got jtrendy?
I was wondering if I could use a td04 plus jdm s turbo ecu and restrictor pill to up mine to 240? Any ideas Jura?

I think yes you could use Impreza TD04L which can allow you to run more bhp(normal for mapped TD04 is usually around 270-280bhp,but 300bhp is possible on TD04)

Not sure on the injectors what you have,but usually 380cc should be enough for this bhp,ECU not sure(really best bet will be Subaru Forester forum and ask there),but as I said ESL Daughterboard should be released soon for newer models
