Default Prodrive upgrade???

Hi i'm new to this site and I know the question has probably been asked already.
I have a 2003 blobeye Type Uk Impreza STI it is standard apart from a stainless steel exhaust, I have been been thinking about upgrading the car to Prodrive spec and have seen forsale several prodrive ecu's with key chips and transponder units.
Is it as easy as claimed to swap the ecu and key chips and the car will run ok??
Any advice appreciated.

Tbh mate, what it costs for the PPP upgrade, you could spend the money on your own upgrades and end up with more power probably.

Yeah thanks It's just I wanted to keep the car as standard as possible, I had intended on buying a Prodrive STI but couldn't find one at the time and I found this clean example at the right price and I thought if it was easy enough to do I would swap the ecu as I have a stainless exhaust with a Prodrive silencer!
It is more the key chip and transponder I am worried about or would it be better changing the ignition barrel and lock set?

wouldnt worry about the PPP as it is probably cheaper to mod with aftermarket parts and get a remap. Isnt the PPP like £2/3 grand ?

As said. Spend some cash on exhaust, Panal filter and remap and get more than the PPP power.
