Default help needed ecu problem?

Hi i think i am in need of some help my car is playing up from cold. its an 03 N/A. It starts every time but cutts out at junctions its got rough idle and smells like its rich. Re starts fine and runs the same. if left on the drive to warm up it runs ok ish but no cutting out. I have cleaned idle valve and throttle body had compression check done, changed front 02 sensor and temp sensor.. starting to think its the ecu. any one else had and simular problems

Don't really know about non turbo models At all , but have you checked the maf

It dose not have one its got map sensor. ive got a earlyer turbo one too and cant even swap stuff across every thing is different.

Sorry mate I can't help , like I say I don't know much about n/a models

happened on mine we changed temp sensor - sorted. mab its fuel pressure related. or as u say ecu ..... i had fuel pump go on me but was sudden death. without warning. hope u get it sorted.
