check light
fired up my turbo2000 for the first time in a couple of months. And within the first 5 minutes engine check light flashed on let it get up to temp then shut off. Disconected battery for hour or so. Then started up again check engine then came on again.
Going to flash code it today.
Anybody else experienced similar thing after left standing?

I had this exact same problem with mine. After it had been sat for a while, I started it and drove down the road and the MIL came on. I had no idea what the problem could be as the car was running fine. I bought a ODBII fault code reader and diagnosed a knock sensor fault.
I disconnected the electrical connection and sprayed it with WD40 then re connected it and deleted the fault code and the car has been fine ever since.
Rightly or wrongly, I've put it down to the car being sat around in this country's continual rain and getting damp!
