Need help to get program/drivers + codes to 1997 STi ECU
As the topic says:
I have problems with a firm here in Sweden (PBZ) that trying to map my Subaru STi but they cannot get in touch with someone on SIMTEK.
My question is as follows: Can i somehow get a kit from SIMTEK, including cable, codes or key? ( i don't know how the ECU is protected).
Help are well appreciated because if i cannot get the program + codes they need to change ECU from SIMTEK to Haltech, that will cost me a fortune ( 30 000 :- SEK).

Hi Daniel,
Yes it is possible to get a programming kit for the simtek.
Although I am aware he is very busy clearing a back log of ecus having the latest firmware updates at the moment.

Are you sure you could help get a programming kit for a SIMTEK Alcatek?
And which one should i contact for more information to order one?
My car is a Subaru WRX STi 1997, and the ECU product code is:
E1S97 – Covers MY97-MY98 Series 3 / 4, (directly from Alcateks website)
My problem is that the only one in Sweden who could get it has stopped working with programming ECUs.
I would be really happy for any assistance in this problem!
