Default boost pressure

i have an early classic wrx with 2.0 cdb engine ESL mapped (mapper reckoned the car makes about 320 hp) and TD05 16 g it holds boost just shy of 1.1 bar above 4000 rpm i have read a post on this site saying this turbo is capable of a safe 1.5 bar so can i raise my boost and if so whats the best/safest way to do it

Why did your mapper not raise the boost for you ?

i asked him and he said he could only raise it slightly

Why did he say that ?

Either there are some problems with somthing on the car or your mapper has no idea of what he is doing.

I would ring the mapper and talk to him

It may be that you don't have an uprated MAP sensor fitted. The early sensors saturate at 1.2bar.
