boost pressure
i have an early classic wrx with 2.0 cdb engine ESL mapped (mapper reckoned the car makes about 320 hp) and TD05 16 g it holds boost just shy of 1.1 bar above 4000 rpm i have read a post on this site saying this turbo is capable of a safe 1.5 bar so can i raise my boost and if so whats the best/safest way to do it

i asked him and he said he could only raise it slightly

Either there are some problems with somthing on the car or your mapper has no idea of what he is doing. I would ring the mapper and talk to him :thumb: |
It may be that you don't have an uprated MAP sensor fitted. The early sensors saturate at 1.2bar.
