Default Engine management light on

Hi there when I'm in 3rd/4th gear and it starts to boost it looses power for fraction of a second it's when it revs up to 4/4.5k rpm any ideas.
And my engine management light is staying on cheers
This is on a newage

Spark plugs or boost leak maybe? Have you got an obd2 reader?

I've got a obd reader ordered.
Someone said it might be overboosting and fuel cut kicking in I've checked all pipes and they all look fine but I will change plugs as well.
Thanks for reply
