Default ECU replacement stock

Hello,

I own a Subaru GC8 WRX "00.
Problem is that my stock ecu is not functionning and i want to buy another one.
The issue is that part of the reference code is not the same as mine.

i have attached the pic where the reference code is not the same, the circle part.

Is this a problem?
is it just plug & play?

Thank you

I think the number you have highlighted is just the serial number

You want an AE802 ECU as a replacement

Plug and Play - yes (for MY99/00)

Get the my99 wrx ecu I can't remember the exact code but I think it's E something....but it's doesn't have the emissions stuff that the 00 Y7 ecu has and just had a wee bit more poke....and it's a straight swap into your car just plug and play
