Hawkeye sti jdm limits
Hey guys am new here. Have put a deposit down on a 2005jdm impreza hawkeye and was just wondering what sort of power you can get on stock internals? And what would i need for a stage 3 map? Apparently it has a iHi vf37 hybrid turbo kaki moto exhaust but I don't know what else has been done.

Welcome
With vf37 oem top mount and exhaust around 360, should survive 450 horses for a while with right turbo ,exhaust, intercooler etc.
Needs front lip spoiler me thinks.

the later JDM 2.0 cars use the same Hyperpeutic piston manufacture as the 2.5's and ultimately can suffer the same fate of ringland falure......
personally would be wary of running one above 400 for this reason, earlier 2.0 cars ran a factory 'forged' piston and would be safer at mid 400's albeit your then into potential for rod / gasket / head bolt issues on a std engine
