Default Green cotton panel filters

Anybody had experience with green cotton panel filters ?. Car is a 2008 hatch

I believe these are oiled filter's, which are no good for an impreza engine, unless your running maffless as will only cause issues with the maf over time.

i went with a apexi panel in the end for that reason. Would of bought a cosworth but they don’t make them for the hatch anymore

OVER oiled filters can cause an issue but in general (apart from the poor 99/00 MAF's) then as long as they are not drenched in oil there is no issue with Green or the original K&N style and have used for years.........

Been running a Green filter in my 99 UK Turbo for the last 9 years, no problems so far.

I've run oiled K&N and green cotton with no problems, currently got a dry flow AEM. The only filter that I wouldn't use again is a Cosworth; after 2k miles there was visible dust behind it, and it had been clipped in all proper. They breathe too well and I know a renowned engine builder who confirmed this.

I’m on my 2nd Simota on Widetrack Sti,1st one in for 5yrs, caught loads of crack so obviously doing the job
