Is there a preferred panel filter out there? i'm looking to replace the panel filter in my Spec C prior to remap and wondered what the best filtering filter was available

any thoughts?

I've got a K&N and had their panel in my classic as well, as far as filtering goes I believe the Apexi one's are supposed to be very good.

I 'prefer' KnN, it gives me no problems.

Think there may be issues with the later MAFs tho re the 'oiled' type and the delicate hot wires

I had both panel filters in my 99 uk turbo, i noticed no difference between them. They are both good. Standard sti one is meant to be good also.
In fact if you want a cheap green filter ill sell it if it fits your car.
