Hi just a quick question needed some help on, engine management light came on yesterday got it diagnosed as the MAF air flow sensor, the mechanic disconected the sensor. And a new one been ordered.
Sorry its abit long winded but this is my query i asked if the cars OK to drive the mechanic said yes, I need my car for work its a 20 mile round trip and I don't boost it, but is he right.
The part should be here tomorrow so it will only be a day or two, thanks for any advice

 

my car had same failure. engine light came on because of maf, my throttle response was very bad and exhaust smell was like unburnt fuel so i didn't drive it.

but maybe others are different i don't know
