Default Simtek ecu

Hey all, I have -98 GT Impreza with some previous owner has changed Simtek ecu for it. Now here in Finland we dont have any place that has "remapping tools" for it anymore. I´m litle confuced shoud i contact to Andy Leech or Andy Forrest or who? I need a some kind of cable and some of encoder? I just want to look at settings and if some problem occurs, then look at sensors if somethings broken

2010 is the year it was purchaced

I contacted simtek and he saie it is alcatek ecu. Now do I need to contact Andy Leech or Andy Forrest? and what is best way to get quick answer, mail or facebook?

with alcatek your chosen mapper will be able to get the codes / dongle to tune the ECU for you. If your doing it yourself then you need to contact alcatek directly to purchase the self mapping kit.

Problem here Finland is theres just one mapper that has dongle for simtek/alcatek and that it s broken. They said that one year they have tried to contact Andy and get new one and have quit on hope...So your only hope here is to get answer from andy and get dongle, password and software from him..

Is the self mapping kit available to Joe public or just established mappers?

Enginetuner should be able to help. I sent my Simtek from Sweden and they arranged for it to be updated to an Alcatek. But I'm giving up and going for a Link G4+ instead. No mappers really do Alcatek here.

And I did buy the customer programmer kit back in 2010 so you should be able to get it. But that's assuming Alcatek are interested in selling things which I sometimes doubt.
