Default no compression help

Hello all I took my car to the garage to have a vf23 turbo bigger injectors and bigger intercooler they fitted all the parts fine but it was hard to start thay finally got it Going and left it running for a little while then turned it off then turn it back on and had a misfire in cylinder 4 they compression tested it and it had low compression in cylinder for possible valve seats that are burnt is this going to be an expensive fix? I know the head might need a reskimming or is it worth just buying a second hand engine
