EJ251 SOHC 2.5L Power Help
Hi all
Pretty new to the whole Scooby thing so please be gentle with me
I have fully rebuilt a EJ251 SOHC 2.5L N/A Phase 1 motor that I have now fitting into a VW camper van.
I reground the cam, heads polished, new oil and compression rings, valves reseated and seals replaced. I also have a full performance stainless exhaust with No Cat and RAM AIR air intake.
Runs really well, pulls strong and everything as it should.
Now of course I would like more power (when will I ever be happy!!) and I know I am very limited on my options to squeeze anymore out of it.
I was hoping somebody could advise what I should be looking at in terms of:
1) Best Performance Spark Plugs
2) Best Performance Plug Leads
And finally if anybody has any experience with the manifold spacers that I have seen about, do they make much difference?
Thanks for you help
