Do you have any receipts? Sounds like it was badly mapped so you'd be better off taking it to someone reputable and having it mapped from scratch.

No got no receipts for it but I know it’s not std bhp as the way it goes. I want to put a few mods on first before I get it mapped again

I wouldn’t go throwing mods onto it if you’ve got faults already. Save the mods for when it’s being mapped again so the mapper can factor them in.

are you sure the codes are due to the map and maybe not some fault that has developed? What codes are you getting?

were would I find that. The reason I think it’s mapped is that it’s a bit quick for a std 225 bhp Car.

look for out of place things under the bonnet near or attached to the turbo most likely. Might even be easier to drop the car into a specialist and have them tell you what's non-standard? Failing that throw a load of engine bay pics up and maybe someone can spot something not right.

A bleed valve will make it feel fast but usually the engine doesn't last too long.
Are these fault codes live or stored codes?
Done an ecu reset?
