Default What engine is in my blobeye?!

Hi guys I'm relatively new to the Subaru scene so please bare with me.

I have an Impreza wrx running 320bhp with supporting mods. I recently added some additional mods ie pink injectors and a walbro fuel pump to squeeze some more power out of my car.

The car was mapped by a previous owner.

When we came to mapping the car today we noticed that the avcs had not been wired in and that my bottom end had the oil breathers identical to an sti block although the car is a wrx and I have no receipt for an sti engine added.

Was just wondering if there is some ID on the engine which would show me which engine it is.. I have found a 6 digit number on the engine starting with a 9, is this any indication?

Appreciate any help

A WRX doesn't have AVCS...so if you have the solenoids on the heads it's been swapped, but to get Avcs working you'll need an sti ecu or an aftermarket one capable of controlling it

Well...JDM WRX does; but then they'd be wired in
