Default Toyo sport manifold

Hi awaiting a remap have a toyosport manifold and up pipe fitted but just heard a few horror stories about it saying it's useless . Wont developed any power and won't spool the turbo a tuner said he did 5 with the same manifold and well under powered . Won't rev over 5000rpm and low boost been told go back standard manifold. As the the inner diameter to large But keep but full decat full system. Anybody have more like light to shed
Cheers

some say that a tubular manifold are not needed before 400hp etc... and i agree lol. dead until high revs and then it was great but rubbish in all other areas. ported standard exhaust manifold and a harvey uppipe to suit your turbo and you will be in a great place... whats the car spec? if you still have your standard manifold then there are people on here, including me that can open up the ports for not much money.

Yeah I think am going back to standard manifold I still have it and open up the ports and .it has cold air feed.full decat straight through exhaust system 3.inch its a 1999 so on a tdo4 with 440cc injectors hoping for around 270/280 bhp unsure whether I need a ecu upgrade or not and Walbro fuel pump maybe a purchase. Yeah that links is one of the horrors stories I heard off
