Default Cel and timing ?

I have had a flickering cel on longer journeys, when the car is warm and under load on hard acceleration; as it is used mostly locally, it doesn`t happen often.

Last year I had the cam belt replaced, and since then the car shakes a bit at idle, acceleration is jerky off boost, and this light flashes under load, on boost.
Could the timing be out a notch ?
Plugs were done last year, lamda 2 years ago, neutral switch, cam sensor, and I have just replaced the coil packs, which I thought had solved the problem, as the cel was solid, and went off. Martyn J looked at it in the summer, and suggested coil packs, so I am now left looking at timing.
Any advice gratefully received, as it`s driving me nuts.
Thanks

Car shaking on idle after a belt change is a good sign its not been timed up right.

Thanks Jay, but would it make the cel flicker ? I`m going to get that belt checked, as Stamina Daddy on here had a similar problem with shake, and it was timing.

Could do yeh as cam sensor is not in sync with crank sensor easy to whip the covers and and check timing marks

Next job on list; bit confused about socket size, as it looked like you couldn`t buy a Subaru one off the shelf, so I just did the coil packs.
