hiya I have a 2002 wrx and the bottom end has gone so I'm changing the engine managed to get a forester engine and was told it's the same as my ej205 engine but there are differences like my old one looks like has 2 more sensors on the block and 2 oil solenoids on the head will the forester engine still fit my car ? As i said on yours other thread,depends on yours engine which do you have and from which year of Forester you are want to use

I would thought so you wan to use from earlier Forester engine which should be same,bu heads I would say they can be different and can have different sensors too,due this I would recommend swap the heads from yours WRX Impreza on Forester engine
