Recently had the engine managment light and the traction control light come on, took it to my mates garage for him to read the codes and they were C0071
C0047 C0072.
He cleared the codes for me but I would like to know what they stand for.

C0047 is a canbus communication error, C0071 is the steering angle sensor and C0072 is yaw rate sensor.

Is it possible you've a lose cable somewhere? Could be the cause of the communications error which could result in the other 2 coming on.
