Default Prodrive ecu for my00 classic

Can someone tell me if a prodrive ecu with numbers SP 1001056110 A18-000 D1X coming from a UK '99 RB5 will fit my car. A LHD dutch my00 impreza gt turbo with original Y6 22611AE782 A18-000 D3K.

The reason for asking is that the owner told that the D1X ecu only is an upgrade for uk model MY99 to MY00 which is either E3 or Y7 code. And I don't know how that's related to my Y6.

And before someone asks, ecutek or something like that is not an option.

Right the Prodrive ecu your describing is like the one below? If so it will not fit yours.

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/SUBARU-IMP...item1c5264e438

You would need the grey plug Prodrive ECU.

You don't have to search so far:
https://www.scoobynet.com/subaru-par...r-classic.html

This is what I think is the correct replacement for my Y6 ecu.

This ecu should be correct for your car. You need the supporting mods as well though: decat centre section exhaust, backbox, and intercooler y-pipe, if you haven't already got them.

Not decat, Prodrive came with sports cat, performance planel filter and Y pipe and exhaust.

You could always get a close match, eg k&n filter, silicon Y pipe off gay bay, and a genral sports cat.

PPP didn't come with sports cat centre section, it was a straight through pipe with resonator.

I see that max. turboboost went from 0.8bar with the y6 ecu to 1.1 now. Power is more lineair from 4 to 6k rpm. Under 3k rpm it struggles more. But with the mods that should go better.

I also replaced the black plastic y pipe with an sti version and a prodrive elbow.
Ordered an Itg panel filter
Only thing I can't find is the prodrive/wr sport exhaust (backbox and middle section)
So if someone knows something for sale, you can pm me

The exhaust you can use another and runs ok.. I'm running with a cobra sport cat back and center non resonated section and car push well . K n panel filter snd silicone intercooler hoses
I'm happy but cobra exhaust is too loud

Thx for the info but I only want to have the prodrive/wr sport one. I want to keep the car as oem as possible. Or with the ppp package parts.

You can go for £2 a month option then cancel subscription so only lasts one month, or £12 for the year is a bargain.

Mate there was no centre sport cat with '99 ppp. Its mapped for the standard catted downpipe, a decat centre section, and prodrive backbox. Not sure where you're getting your info from. They don't exist, either used or aftermarket, because they're unnecessary, the cat in the downpipe does the job for emissions.
