Default P1 - Lambda sensor connection to loom

Hi there

This is going to sound a bit odd but I have recently bought a P1 and noticed that one of the two lambda sensors is not connected into the loom and just has the wire hanging down. The one at the top of the downpipe (just after the turbo) is in place and connected, but the other one set into the manifold is not connected at all.

The manifold looks standard so I presume the car is meant to have two lambda sensors, but if that is the case, I'm surprised I'm not getting the CEL light coming on. I have run the diagnostics and again no fault codes.

I suppose I have two questions: Does the P1 have a lambda sensor in the exhaust manifold and if so, where does it connect into the loom becasue I can't find the other half of the connector anywhere?

I hope somebody can help. My thanks in advance.

Default

Could be the sensor for the exhaust gas temp, or a second lamba for a wideband feul ratio, not sure if p1 comes with 2 lambas
